Men’s Ministries at Grace Church exists to equip men of all ages to be spiritual leaders in their homes, church, workplaces, communities, and around the world. We seek to accomplish this goal through:
- Deepening our relationship with Jesus Christ through Bible studies and leadership training;
- Building and strengthening relationships with one another through mentoring and accountability; and
- Living out and sharing our faith through witnessing and service opportunities.
Bible Study
The Men for Christ Bible study meets twice a month on Saturday mornings at 7:00 am. After that ever-important first cup of coffee and a light breakfast, we spend time studying together. Various studies have focused on character development, sharing Christ with those around us, and the book of James. Men are encouraged to join us at any point during the year and get involved!
The Shed
The Shed is held in the storage room by the kitchen on Wednesday evenings at 7 during the school year. This informal evening provides men with opportunities to hang out, build friendships, and be encouraged in their walk with Christ during the devotional time.
The A-Team
The A-Team (Men’s Ministries Assistance Team) provides men with the opportunity to go and serve on work projects following natural disasters. Three trips are planned during the year in coordination with Samaritan’s Purse and other agencies. Other trips are short-notice responses to emergencies, whether local or distant.
Additional service opportunities include workdays which are scheduled in the spring and the fall to help people with clean-up and fix-up jobs.
