What are we trying to do?
LODG (Loving Others Desiring God) exists to help students develop deeper, more vibrant relationships with Jesus that dramatically transform their lives and the lives of those they interact with.
How are we trying to do it?
Know the way:
“Can a blind man lead a blind man? Will they not fall into a pit?” Luke 6:39
A disciple is a follower of Jesus who knows where he or she is going and can lead others to Him.
Go the way:
“Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say?…” Luke 6:46
A disciple is not only a person who knows the way, but he or she also must go the way.
Show the way:
“Therefore go and make disciples…” Matthew 28:19
A disciple is a follower of Jesus who knows the way, goes the way, and Shows the way to those people around them.
