Locally, we seek to provide opportunities for every person at Grace to care for and reach our community for Christ. As individuals, we encourage our people to embrace opportunities in their neighborhoods and at their workplace to demonstrate the love of Christ to others. As a church we provide service opportunities throughout the year to meet tangible needs in our community such as food drives and filling backpacks. And each quarter we have an event or ministry focused on encouraging and ministering to families in our community.
- Each winter our gym is filled on Saturday mornings with almost 400 boys and girls playing UPWARD™ basketball.
- Each spring following the end of school we hold our annual Vacation Bible School. Click Here for more information
Each summer concludes with Summer’s Last Ride on the first Wednesday of August. This evening provides a night of rides, games, prizes, and food for the whole family.
And in the fall, on the Wednesday before Halloween, we invite the community to join us for our Harvest of Family Fun. This evening involves hay rides, games, food, and of course, candy!
In all these events, we continue to look for opportunities to share Christ with those around us and build deeper relationships with those in our community. For questions about our community ministries, contact Pastor Jonathan Farrell at 266-9281 or jonathan@gracemorton.org.
