Associate Senior Pastor
Jonathan grew up in Northern Kentucky and met his wife Jaime, a Morton native, at Cedarville University. After graduating and getting married in 2003, they moved to Louisville, Kentucky where Jonathan continued his education at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. After completing his Master’s work, Jonathan came on staff in January 2007 as a pastoral intern and became pastor of outreach and discipleship in January 2008. Jonathan and Jaime have three daughters and one son. Jonathan is passionate about connecting people to Christ and to the loving family at Grace Church. When not catching up on yard work, Jonathan enjoys playing basketball, keeping up with his Cincinnati Reds and Bengals, and playing card and board games with his bride.
Brandon grew up in Washington, IL. Upon receiving an Associates from Illinois Central College he took some time to seek God’s will moving forward and felt called to study worship ministry at Lincoln Christian University where he received his bachelors degree. Brandon is married to his sweetheart, April, and they currently have one son - Beckham. Since their wedding, Brandon has served as the Director of Worship in a couple of local congregations - New Castle Bible Church in Mackinaw, IL and Second Presbyterian Church in Bloomington, IL. His passion is to magnify the greatness of God by serving the local church through the facilitation of music as the congregation seeks to bring all glory ultimately to Christ. In his free time, Brandon loves to write & record music, practice photography & videography, and spend time with April & “Becks.”
Missions & People Care
Tim is a third-cultural adult having grown up in the Congo where his parents were missionaries with Africa Inter-Mennonite Mission. Tim went to school at Taylor University and met his wife Laura, also a child of missionaries from Cameroon, at Trinity Divinity School. Tim and Laura served as missionaries in the Congo and Botswana for 20 years. They came to Grace in 2006 where Tim is currently the Pastor of Missions and People Care. They have three adult children. Tim loves campfires, motorcycles, reading, food, God’s Word, and being with people.
High School Ministries
Steve grew up at Grace Church. A Morton native, Steve attended Moody Bible Institute. After receiving his degree, he returned in the summer of 2009 to begin serving as the high school ministries pastor. Steve married his bride, Marla, in July of 2009. Steve takes time to go disc golfing, play table tennis, and win in dodgeball. Steve enjoys spending time with students, watching God’s Word become meaningful to them, and seeing them share that truth with others. Steve’s heart is to see the next generation of Christian leaders come from youth group who know and love God, the Church, and the lost.
Middle School Ministries
Caleb grew up on a farm in Northwest Ohio. He attended Baptist Bible College in Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania where he met his wife, Kari. After finishing his undergraduate degree, Caleb served for a year as a youth ministry intern and a volunteer in two other youth ministry positions before moving to Morton to come on staff at Grace in the summer of 2009. Caleb swept his wife, Kari, off her feet and convinced her to move to Morton and marry him. They were married here at Grace Church in December 2009. Caleb and Kari are blessed with 2 sons — Asher and Ezekiel. Caleb enjoys riding horses, playing soccer, and woodworking. Above these things, Caleb enjoys watching God begin to put the pieces of the Gospel together in the minds of the students he serves.
Brad has been attending Grace Church since he was five years old and attended the children's ministries he now oversees. After graduating from Morton High School, he earned a degree in Christian Education from Taylor University. For the next 12 years, he served as Program Director and later Executive Director at Camp of Champions USA (COCUSA), a Christian summer day camp. In November 2014, he became Grace Church’s first Children’s Ministry Pastor. Brad and his wife, Cali, were married in September 2004 and have two daughters. In addition to being a faithful mom, Cali works a few days a week as a sign language interpreter at Illinois State. Brad likes playing basketball and tennis and following the St. Louis Cardinals and college basketball.
LCLP and Grace Women's and Family Counselor
Angela married Joe Geyer in 1999. She then went on to receive her MA in Human Development Counseling at Bradley University in 2002. She has had 8 years of counseling experience and has also spent several years since receiving her degree at home raising their five children. Angela maintains her license by obtaining continuing education credits, often from Christian and Biblical counseling presentations and materials. While Angela is ready to help women and children in many different life stages and situations, she has received special training in eating disorders, dialectical behavior therapy for mood and anxiety disorders, and has extensive experience with children. It's her goal to bring the love and truth of the Lord to the lives of the women and children that she counsels at Grace and to incorporate mental health education and techniques as she does so. If you find yourself struggling, please don't hesitate to call the Grace Church office and schedule an appointment with her. She is available to talk to (free of charge!) at Grace Church on Tuesdays.
