There are many opportunities in Grace Women's ministries to serve one another.

Card Ministry

Participants in this group typically take one month of the year and mail cards to others in our church family who are experiencing various life events such as  births, deaths, marriages, illnesses, etc. The cards are generally sent to those listed on the Wednesday prayer sheet (available in the main foyer or by email in the Wednesday update email) and/or mentioned on Sunday morning during the pastoral prayer time. A card reminds them that their church family cares about what they're going through when hard time come and when they celebrate joyous events. All cards and postage are provided in the card box that is passed on monthly to the next group member.


Kitchen Helpers

Assist quarterly kitchen managers, mainly at Family Life meals. This does not include funerals or wedding receptions. Time commitment will be estimated when need is sent out on CCB.

Dining room (day or evening)

Set tables, prepare and serve drinks, and clean up tables afterwards for various Grace Church events and functions, most often for church family funeral meals. Time commitment varies by function but will be estimated when request is sent out on CCB.

Wash dishes for various Grace Church events and functions, most often for church family funeral meals and wedding receptions. Time commitment varies by function but will be estimated when request is sent out on CCB.

Provide requested food items for church events, most often for church family funeral meals. Food needs for funeral meals are coordinated by the church office as the need arises.


funeral meal coordinators

Working with our dining room, dishwashing, food providers, and funeral kitchen helper committees, coordinate all aspects of church family funeral meals.


tablecloth cleaning

Assist tablecloth cleaning manager in washing and folding tablecloths at laundromat.


Wedding reception

Assist wedding reception coordinator with table setting, kitchen responsibilities, food serving, and clean up for wedding receptions held at Grace Church. Time commitment varies but will be estimated when contacted by reception committee coordinator


Decorating Committee

This group helps decorate and set up for Women's Ministries events throughout the year.


Hospitality

COORDINATOR: KATIE CHATWELL - KCHAT6@YAHOO.COM

Be available to welcome guests to one or two Women's Ministries events during the year and do some follow-up with women who are new to Grace Church, inviting them to the newcomer coffees to help connect new women with other ladies, as well as women's Ministries and the larger Grace Church family.

Serve at one or two Women's Ministries events a year with your musical talents trhough song, instruments, coordinating background music, and choosing music.
