Men and women are still growing, and our adult ministries exist to engage and serve men and women at a variety of life stages.
Our Sunday School is a foundational part of our ministry. The purpose of our Sunday School is best said in the words of Paul to the Colossian believers: “We proclaim Christ, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ” (Colossians 1:28).
Our classes change each quarter and include a wide variety of topics. Even if the quarter has already started, please feel free to join us at any time.
God didn’t place us on this earth to live in isolation. We believe He’s drawn us together as a church family to experience community — and small groups are one of the ways we seek to foster community. Small groups generally meet twice a month and spend time studying God’s Word or another biblical topic together.
If you'd like to get connected in a group, please contact Pastor Steve.
DIVORCECARE & GRIEFSHARE
DivorceCare is a ministry for those who are divorced or separated. DivorceCare is led each week by friendly, caring men and women who understand the divorce process and desire to see recovery and rebuilding of lives. Workbook materials and group discussion are used to complement a DVD series. The DVD seminar series features some of the nation’s foremost Christian experts on divorce and recovery topics as seen from a biblical perspective. The current session of DivorceCare will run from September 6 to December 13, with a special Surviving the Holidays session on November 15.
GriefShare is a ministry specifically focused on those grieving because of the loss of a loved one. Like DivorceCare, GriefShare utilizes a tremendous DVD series, along with group dialogue, to encourage and minister to those who are hurting. Our next GriefShare session will begin September 10 and run through December 3.
We will host a special meeting of GriefShare “Surviving the Holidays” at 9:00 AM on Saturday, November 10 in the Fireside Room.
