The Word

Teacher Ron Klassen. “The Word” is one of more than 150 names for Christ in the Bible. Christ is not only God; He is God’s revelation personified, The Word incarnate. In this class, we are going to look at some of the words said by the greatest communicator the world has ever known. Words that drew crowds . . . and words that provoked crowds to leave. Words that roused the ire of the Pharisees and Sadducees. Words that baffled, impacted, and inspired. Words that give us a better, fuller, and deeper understanding of God and His will for us. Location: Fellowship Hall

 

Biblical Financial Stewardship

Facilitator Mike Witzig. This class will use the “Moneylife Curriculum"  from Crown Financial Ministries with the goal of helping you take practical steps towards honoring God with your finances. You are invited to attend this class whether your current approach to financial stewardship needs a complete overhaul, or you simply want to learn more about this important topic. A few of the subjects that will be covered are: A Biblical Understanding to Finances, Savings, Debt, and Budgeting. This class is designed to be very practical and requires assignments to be completed at home.  You will not only leave this class informed, but with steps being taken to help you honor the Lord in your everyday financial life. Location: Fellowship Hall

 

A Heart for the King: A Study in Deuteronomy

Teacher Aaron Yoder. This discussion-based class will study the treasured message of Deuteronomy, Moses’ final sermon. We will discover links with New Testament teachings about the Kingdom of God and discuss how to live as the King’s people amidst pluralistic, secular cultures. Location: Fellowship Hall

 

Discipling

Teachers Curt Meiss & Dan Baker. If you have been a Christian for very long you have probably heard the word “disciple.” In this class we will explore core aspects of discipleship such as “What is a disciple?”, “Why should I disciple?”, and “How do I disciple?”, among many other topics regarding discipleship. The purpose of this class will be to help you discover what the Bible teaches about discipleship, and to help you fulfill our calling of being a disciple and discipling others. This class will utilize materials provided by Capitol Hill Baptist Church. Location: Fellowship Hall

 

 

Following Jesus

Video Series. This series was preached by Tim Keller at his home church, Redeemer Church, in 2014. In this series Tim Keller examines select passages from 1 & 2 Peter and teaches us what it means to be a Christian who lives out the hope and power of the resurrection.  This series will be facilitated by various members at Grace Church. Location: Room 217 (across from kitchen)
